For more than 25 years, Florida attorney Jim Dodson has represented children and adults in accident cases against the liability insurance industry. Mr. Dodson founded Jim Dodson Law in Clearwater, FL in 2001 and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients.

As a personal injury attorney, Mr. Dodson brings a broad scope of experience to his practice. Prior to establishing Jim Dodson Law, he was a partner in a large Clearwater law firm, representing clients in personal injury litigation. As an Assistant United States attorney, he defended medical malpractice and personal injury lawsuits against physicians in federal court. In 2001, he opened his own office focusing exclusively on those whose lives have been affected by the wrongful act of another, including all accident cases, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims.

He currently leads the Mid-County Bar Association. He also served as a former adjunct professor in trial practice at Stetson University College of Law.

Mr. Dodson and his college sweetheart Pam have been married for 38 years. They have two married children and two beautiful little granddaughters. Mr. Dodson is an avid reader who enjoys boating, mountain biking, playing golf and spending time with his family.
