I have heard countless horror stories of “accident” attorneys treating 
clients as just another number, that they are just interested in the 
potential dollar amount of the case, and not focused on the actual needs of 
the client. After my accident I didn’t know what to do, or who to turn to for 
advice. My car had been totaled, and I was experiencing the worst physical
 pain I had ever had before in my life. A professor I knew suggested I
 should seek legal representation, and speak with Mr. Dodson regarding my
 accident. I was very hesitant to do so; however she assured me he is not

Over a year ago I fell on a step in the dark outside the home of a friend. I was taken by ambulance to Morton Plant Hospital, surgery was done the next day, followed by 2 weeks in rehab and almost a year of misery since the original surgical repair failed and was ultimately followed by a total knee replacement. The friend reassured me her homeowner’s insurance would cover everything. I didn’t think I needed the services of a lawyer, but our family lawyer recommended I talk to Jim Dodson just to be on the safe side and to cover my bases.

I went to the meeting convinced I could handle this on my own. After talking to him, I quickly realized I was way over my head and would have created a huge mess with Medicare since I had no idea how to handle the requirements of paying them back after settlement.

Jim walked me through everything we needed to do and we were able to get a settlement equal to the policy limit, so it was not necessary to file a lawsuit.
